TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a class, pass, membership, add-on, or by booking into or attending a class (in-studio or virtual), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. DEFINITIONS
Class / Session / Credit: One Pilates class booking.
Pass: A bundle of class credits with an expiry date.
Membership: An ongoing recurring billing plan.
Add-On: An additional service purchased alongside a membership.
Billing Cycle: Your personal billing schedule (weekly or fortnightly).
Momence: Pilates Bar’s booking and payment platform.
Happy Hour: Pilates Bar’s virtual and/or instructor-free class offering.
2. INTRODUCTORY & PROMOTIONAL OFFERS
Introductory Offer – “Happy Days”
Available once only to brand new clients.
Unlimited classes valid for 14 days.
Activates from the date of your first booked class.
Non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by law.
Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Grand Opening Special – 5 Class Pass
Available to brand new clients prior to a studio’s official opening date.
Valid for 30 days from the studio opening date.
One purchase per person.
Non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by law.
3. CLASS PASSES
Class passes activate from the date of payment.
Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by law.
Passes must be used within the stated expiry period.
Extensions are granted only for injury or medical reasons with supporting documentation.
4. MEMBERSHIPS – GENERAL TERMS
Memberships are billed in advance on an ongoing basis.
Memberships activate from the purchase date or a nominated start date.
Sessions are non-transferable.
Bookings must be made via Momence or the Pilates Bar app.
A 7-day cooling-off period applies from the purchase date.
Memberships continue until cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
Memberships operate on a 52-week administrative cycle and will auto-renew unless cancelled. Initial commitment periods do not reapply after renewal.
5. MEMBERSHIP TYPES
VIP Membership
Provides unlimited in-studio class access, subject to availability.
Includes additional benefits as advertised at the time of purchase.
Includes a minimum commitment period of seven (7) fortnightly payments.
Cancellation after the minimum term requires 14 days written notice. To cancel your membership please email hello@pilatesbar.com.au
If cancelled during the minimum commitment period, an early termination fee of $150 will apply.
Teaser / Sculpter / Slayer Memberships
Include capped visits per fortnight:
Teaser – 4 visits
Sculpter – 6 visits
Slayer – 8 visits
Any visits booked beyond the included cap will incur an additional class fee of $20 per class.
Include a minimum commitment period of seven (7) fortnightly payments.

Membership Benefits
Benefits, discounts, and referrals apply only while the membership is active.
Pilates Bar reserves the right to modify benefits from time to time.
5A. HAPPY HOUR (VIRTUAL) MEMBERSHIP
Happy Hour provides access to virtual, pre-recorded, or instructor-free classes.
Available as a standalone virtual membership or add-on to an existing membership.
Classes are screen-based, self-guided, and unsupervised.
Participation is at your own risk.
Not suitable for beginners, injured clients, pregnant clients without clearance, or those requiring supervision.
Pilates Bar may modify or withdraw Happy Hour offerings at any time.
Happy Hour Add-On
Billed alongside the primary membership.
Automatically cancelled if the primary membership is cancelled.
Does not increase in-studio class entitlements.
Does not automatically pause during suspensions unless requested.
6. MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSIONS
One suspension permitted every 3 months, minimum 7 days, maximum 30 days, at no charge.
Additional suspensions incur a fee of $5 per week.
Suspension requests require 14 days notice via email.
Suspensions pause billing and access and extend any minimum commitment period.
Suspensions cannot be backdated.
7. LATE CANCELLATION & NO SHOW FEES
Late Cancel: Cancelling within 4 hours of class start incurs a $10 fee and forfeiture of the class credit.
No Show: Failure to attend without cancelling incurs a $15 fee and forfeiture of the class credit.
These fees apply to all bookings, including those added from a waitlist.
If Pilates Bar cancels a class, no fees apply and credits are returned.
8. BOOKINGS, WAITLISTS & ATTENDANCE
A minimum of three (3) clients is required for a class to proceed. Pilates Bar reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum numbers are not met. Clients will be notified up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled class start time.
All class bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling must be completed via the Momence platform or the Pilates Bar app only.
Cancellations or changes made via text message, email, phone call, social media message, or any other method will not be accepted and will be treated as a Late Cancellation or No Show where applicable.
If a class is fully booked, clients may add themselves to the waitlist.
By joining a waitlist, you are committing to attend the class if a space becomes available.
If you are moved from the waitlist into a class and do not attend, a No Show fee will apply, regardless of how close to the class start time the space becomes available.
Clients arriving more than 5 minutes late may be refused entry for safety reasons.
9. STUDIO RULES & ETIQUETTE
By attending any class (including virtual), you agree that:
Grip socks must be worn at all classes. If unavailable, you agree to purchase them before participating.
You will treat staff and members with honesty, kindness, and respect.
You will clean all equipment used with provided sanitary wipes after each class.
Equipment must be returned to its original setup position.
You will follow all studio signage and safety instructions.
Pilates Bar may refuse entry or suspend access for unsafe or disruptive behaviour.
10. PAYMENTS, TRANSACTIONS & FEES
Payment is required at the time of booking.
Declined or failed payments incur a dishonour fee of $14.95.
Alternative payment details must be provided within 7 days.
Early termination fees are payable immediately upon cancellation.
All prices are inclusive of GST. Transaction and merchant processing fees may apply and are charged by our payment service provider.
11. AGE, MEDICAL & SAFETY
Minimum age: 14 years.
Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a booked adult.
Medical clearance is required for pregnancy or known conditions.
Heated classes may reach 35°C.
Clients must stop exercising immediately if unwell.
11A. VIRTUAL & INSTRUCTOR-FREE CLASSES – PARTICIPANT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
You confirm you are physically fit to participate and not aware of any condition preventing safe participation.
Pilates Bar does not provide medical advice.
Virtual classes are screen-led and unsupervised.
You are responsible for monitoring your own form and safety.
To the extent permitted by law, Pilates Bar is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.
11B. CRÈCHE & CHILDCARE SERVICES
Crèche services are short-term, limited supervision only.
The Crèche is not a licensed childcare service.
Children remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian at all times.
Pilates Bar may refuse access for safety or wellbeing reasons.
Parents must disclose allergies, medical conditions, or behavioural needs.
Crèche services may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
12. CCTV & SURVEILLANCE
CCTV operates in common studio areas for safety and security.
CCTV is not installed in bathrooms or change rooms.
By entering the studio, you consent to CCTV recording.
Footage is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
13. COMMUNICABLE DISEASES
Clients with communicable illnesses must provide medical clearance before returning to class.
14. PERSONAL PROPERTY
Pilates Bar is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
15. LIABILITY & RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Pilates classes involve inherent physical risks.
Participation is voluntary.
To the extent permitted by law, Pilates Bar is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
16. PRIVACY & COMMUNICATIONS
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
By registering, you consent to receive communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
17. GENERAL
Pilates Bar may change schedules, instructors, services, or facilities at any time.
These Terms may be updated periodically. The most current version applies.

By booking into a class, purchasing a pass, membership, or add-on, or attending a session at Pilates Bar, you confirm that you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
